We enable a language for both the app and site when it reaches 80% completion.

Q: How can I enable the “i18n Inspector” panel for Modrinth App/modrinth.com?

The i18n inspector panel allows you to see what keys are being used in a specific context across the Modrinth App and modrinth.com.

Modrinth App

The i18n debug panel will be available in Modrinth App versions v0.10.28 and later.

  1. Open the app settings via the bottom left button in the app, click on the Modrinth logo 6 or more times in the bottom left of the settings modal to enable developer mode.

  2. Head to the “Feature flags” section in the settings modal and enable the I18n Debug flag.

  3. Relaunch the app, then use the CTRL/CMD + SHIFT + . keybind to open the panel.

  1. Scroll down to the footer and click the Modrinth logo up to 6 or more times until you get a notification saying “Developer mode activated”

  2. Head to https://modrinth.com/flags and scroll to the bottom to enable the I18nDebug flag:

  3. Refresh the page (F5) and then use the CTRL/CMD + SHIFT + . keybind to open the panel.
